This is a full-time 6 days a week on-site role for a Structural Engineer located in Dubai.
Responsibilities Assist in the management of project delivery within the stipulated schedules and ensuring proper implementation of QA/QC procedures. Reviewing and Approving Site Submittals [Shop Drawings, Material Submittals, Method Statements, RFI responses etc.]Arranging technical workshops with Contractor and other relevant entities Advising and resolving constructability issues Advising on concrete repairs methods and treatments Inter-disciplinary Coordination and ensuring adequate coordination and implementation on site Keeping abreast of industry developments within UAEProviding advice on technical issues Provide support to the Resident Engineer as required.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.15+ years of experience; minimum 10 years in UAEExperience working with Consultancy firms is a must Experience working as part of site supervision on concrete and steel structures Strong proficiency in structural design and analysis software Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
