Dubai Media is looking for a tech-savvy UAE National IT Systems Administrator to join our team and make sure our digital world runs like clockwork.
In this role, you’ll manage, maintain, and enhance our IT infrastructure — from servers and networks to cloud platforms and security systems. You’ll collaborate with a talented team to keep our systems secure, efficient, and future-ready, ensuring that everything behind the scenes supports the creativity that happens in front of the camera.
What you’ll do:
Manage and optimize servers, networks, storage, and cloud platforms.
Ensure systems are secure, stable, and high-performing.
Deploy software updates, patches, and configurations with minimal disruption.
Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement long-term fixes.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver scalable tech solutions.
Lead or support IT projects that enhance DMI’s infrastructure.
Maintain documentation, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
Stay updated with new technologies and best practices to keep us ahead of the curve.
What we’re looking for:
UAE National (Emirati) with a passion for technology and continuous learning.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
0–3 years of experience in system administration, network management, or IT infrastructure.
Strong understanding of operating systems, virtualization, and networking principles.
Hands-on experience with security measures, scripting, and troubleshooting.
A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with great communication skills.
Big plus if you have experience with:
Linux system administration.
Cloud platforms like AWS or Microsoft Azure.
Database management and optimization.
Industry certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, VMware, or Microsoft/AWS credentials.
