About the job 6G Welder (Steel)
• Work as per daily Production Schedule given by the Lead Steel Fabricator.
• Positions, aligns, fits and welds together parts.
• Verifies conformance of work piece to specifications, using square, ruler, and measuring tape.
• Adhere to company HSE policy / procedures and report any unsafe practice (if found) to the immediate supervisor.
• Performs any other functions and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
• High school (minimum) and preferably with specific skills relevant for production activities.
• 6G Welder SMAW, TIG and MIG
• Proven work experience as a Steel Welder in same or similar industry
• Ability to read drawings.
• Understanding of safety and Equipment procedures.
• Good Communication Skills.
• Ability to work at site.
Additional certifications in welding or safety (e.g., ASME, API).
