Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Plan, lead, and adjust Jiu Jitsu classes for various skill levels, ensuring clear progressive learning paths.
• Demonstrate techniques, provide step-by-step instruction, and safely supervise live practice and sparring sessions.
• Assess student performance, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to students and families as appropriate.
• Design warm-ups, conditioning, and drill sequences that enhance technique and physical fitness while minimizing injury risk.
• Maintain a safe training environment by enforcing rules, ensuring proper hygiene, and supervising equipment usage.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom culture that supports student motivation and retention.
• Coordinate with other instructors to deliver integrated programs, seminars, and special events.
• Assist with belt promotions, skill assessments, and achievement recognition in accordance with academy standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, attend workshops, and stay current with Jiu Jitsu trends and safety practices.
• Engage with students and families to communicate schedules, progress, and upcoming programs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• University degree (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
• Professional Jiu Jitsu practitioner with demonstrable technical proficiency and coaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of fundamental Brazilian Jiu Jitsu concepts, safety protocols, and class management.
• First Aid/CPR certification is preferred or willing to obtain.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; Arabic language proficiency is advantageous.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule in the UAE, with flexibility to teach evenings and weekends as required.
• Commitment to high standards of professionalism, punctuality, and student care.

Required Skills

• Technical Jiu Jitsu knowledge across multiple belts and styles (competition and/or self-defense emphasis).
• Effective coaching and demonstration skills with the ability to explain complex techniques clearly.
