Role Overview
Acts as the link between hardware and software, ensuring robotic systems are calibrated, maintained, and optimized for task-specific performance. This is a mechatronics-focused role emphasizing system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
System Integration: Calibrate and integrate sensors (LiDAR, ultrasonic, laser trackers) with the central controller.
Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled health checks including joint lubrication, belt tensioning, and cooling system inspections.
Software Deployment: Manage firmware updates, Linux/Ubuntu terminal operations, and minor Python script modifications.
TCP Calibration: Update and manage Tool Center Point (TCP) configurations for various end-effectors (sprayers, sandblasters, print heads).
Skills
Technical Profile
Software: ROS (Robot Operating System), PLC programming, Git version control.
Protocols: EtherCAT, Modbus, CAN bus troubleshooting.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 1–2 years relevant experience.
Strong mechatronic integration exposure.
