Job Summary:
Our client, a multinational company is looking for an Associate Product Manager – Small Domestic Appliances. Responsible in managing and following the guidelines for the (Small Domestic Appliances) product portfolio to ensure market competitiveness, compliance, and sustained growth. The position holder oversees smaller accounts and drives initial collaborations in the market, executes dynamic marketing strategies and leverages market opportunities. In addition, the position holder contributes to market expansion and contributes to the organization’s long term vision and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- A. Strategic and Managerial Responsibilities
- Strategic and Planning
- Implement the Products functional strategy in line with business vision, mission, and corporate objectives
- Ensure that the overall business strategy is translated into annual Products operational business plans and the performance is monitored to ensure business plans are in line with the overall strategy
- Policy, Procedures, Process and Systems
- Implement Products functional policy, systems, processes, procedures, and controls covering all Products functional areas in line with policies to ensure fulfilment of all relevant procedural/legislative requirements while delivering quality and cost-effective service in a consistent manner
- Compliance
- Manage Products compliance frameworks and programs within the Products department, ensuring alignment with local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Establish reporting mechanisms to proactively monitor and report on risk and compliance issues within the Products department and collaborate with senior leadership to escalate critical matters for timely resolution, while also offering recommendations for mitigation
- B. Core Responsibilities
- Product Management
- Manage the Small Home Appliances product portfolio within designated geographical territories
- Manage product lifecycle – procurement from NPI through end-of-life
- Oversee product launch, pricing, positioning and market strategies
- Monitor product performance and market feedback
- Serve as the critical liaison between suppliers, factories, and market
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends and pricing dynamics to uphold competitiveness and bolster profitability
- Ensure that all products and marketing efforts comply with relevant industry regulations and standards
- Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to provide them with the necessary product knowledge, tools, and materials for effective selling and marketing campaigns
- Product Procurement
- Manage the sourcing and selection of reliable suppliers for Small Domestic Appliances product
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms and other legal requirements
- Ensure procurement aligns with quality standards and compliance
- Partner Management
- Work closely with partners to understand their needs and assist them in gaining a better share in the market
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners to ensure effective collaboration and communication
- Provide guidance and support to partners on product positioning, pricing, and marketing strategies
- Budget Management
- Monitor and report on budget performance to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and resource optimization
- Actively support and prepare budget plans with HQ and factories
- Market Expansion
- Explore opportunities for expanding product presence into new markets and develop entry strategies
- Present product strategies, performance updates, and future plans to the senior manager
- Ensure compliance to the company's long-term strategic vision, ensuring alignment with product and marketing strategies
- Identify potential risks and market challenges that may impact product performance and devise contingency plans to mitigate them
- Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and conduct product-focused training programs for the sales force to enhance their product expertise
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide them with the necessary product knowledge, tools, and materials for effective selling

Requirements:
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, Management or equivalent is required
Certification (Preferred)- Certified Product Manager (CPM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
Experience- Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience
Skills Required- Strong product management experience including managing product portfolios, developing and launching new products, and overseeing the entire product lifecycle
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Leadership and team management skills
- Deep understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics
- Proven skills in market research and analysis
