Overview of the Role

As a Finance Business Partner – EV Finance UAE, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and strengthening governance across EV finance operations. Reporting to the Finance Manager – EV Finance UAE, you will oversee branch accounting operations, manage a multi location finance team, and act as a trusted advisor to senior business stakeholders. This role combines strong financial control with commercial insight, offering high autonomy and visibility within the business.


What You Will Do

•  Lead the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and monthly/quarterly forecasts, working closely with business and finance leadership

•  Deliver insightful financial reporting, MIS, variance analysis, and performance reviews to support informed decision making

•  Oversee month end, quarter end, and year end closing activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting

•  Strengthen accounting controls and processes across branches to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with company policies

•  Partner with operational and commercial teams to review financial performance, monitor costs, and improve profitability

•  Review balance sheet accounts, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure clean substantiation

•  Validate CAPEX proposals, support project approvals, and conduct post investment reviews to ensure spend aligns with budgets

Skills

Required Skills to Be Successful

•  A professional accounting qualification or equivalent graduate qualification

•  7–10 years of relevant finance experience, ideally within the automotive or a similar multi site environment

•  Previous experience in a finance business partner or senior finance role within a reputable organization

•  Strong numeracy, commercial awareness, and a proactive, self directed approach
