We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in auditing to manage financial records, track income and expenses, and conduct detailed internal audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in bookkeeping, auditing, tax compliance, and the ability to produce accurate financial statements and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including income and expenses.
- Monthly & Annual Audits: Conduct internal audits, prepare financial statements, and ensure that financial practices comply with local and international standards.
- Income & Expense Tracking: Monitor financial transactions, ensuring proper documentation and classification of expenses and income.
- Tax & VAT Compliance: Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws, including VAT returns and other statutory financial obligations.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of all financial accounts, bank statements, and credit card statements.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit/loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Internal Control & Risk Management: Review internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.
- Audit Support: Assist with external audit processes and provide requested documentation to auditors.
- Budget & Forecasting: Work with the finance team to help create and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting with a focus on auditing and financial reporting.
- Certifications: ACCA, CPA, or CA preferred.
