Head of E-Commerce & Marketing

Our client is a global leader in tools manufacturing and distribution, serving the Industrial, Engineering, and Construction sectors.
We are seeking a commercially driven Head of E-Commerce & Marketing to lead end-to-end digital commerce, marketing strategy, and selected retail activities.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, overseeing B2B and B2C e-commerce platforms, brand marketing, and key retail customers while managing a small, high-impact team.
Responsibilities
E-Commerce Leadership (B2B & B2C)
· Full ownership of performance, profitability, and growth of B2B and B2C webshops
· Define and execute e-commerce strategy aligned with business objectives
· Lead pricing, assortment, and category management decisions
· Manage supplier and trade partner relationships, including negotiations and supply reliability
· Oversee Shopify platform development and optimization
· Own Amazon Seller and Vendor Central operations, including content, advertising, and performance analytics
· Drive conversion optimization through campaigns, A/B testing, and customer journey improvements
Customer Service & Webshop Procurement
· Lead customer service function, ensuring high service standards and KPI delivery
· Oversee inventory planning, procurement coordination, and stock optimization for e-commerce
Marketing Department Leadership
· Lead and develop the marketing team, including goal setting and performance management
· Develop and execute integrated marketing strategy across digital, social, and traditional channels
· Manage marketing budgets, brand consistency, and content strategy
· Oversee retail merchandising, POS materials, and visual identity
· Plan and execute trade shows and industry events, including lead management
· Manage marketing assets and materials inventory
Retail Sales Management (Select Accounts)
· Directly manage a small portfolio of key retail customers
· Develop customer-specific sales strategies, assortments, and displays
Conduct regular business reviews and sales planning
Skills
Requirements
· Degree in Business, E-Commerce, Marketing, or similar
· 5–7+ years’ experience in e-commerce and/or marketing, with minimum 3 years in leadership
· Proven success managing B2B and/or B2C webshops
· Mandatory experience with Amazon Seller/Vendor Central
· Strong background in digital marketing, SEO/SEA, analytics, and conversion optimization
· Experience with pricing, assortment planning, supplier negotiations, and inventory management
· Hands-on experience with Shopify and analytics tools
· Entrepreneurial, action-oriented, and commercially minded
· Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
