We are looking for an ambitious and strategic Business Development Specialist to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the interior design, architecture, or construction industry in the UAE, with excellent networking abilities and a deep understanding of the Dubai market. This role requires a self-motivated professional who can identify prospects, develop compelling proposals, and close high-value contracts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Sales
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across residential, commercial, hospitality, and retail sectors
• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets
• Generate qualified leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and market research
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape
• Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to maximize profitability while meeting client needs
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurately forecast revenue projections
Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-value clients, developers, real estate firms, and hospitality groups
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts and strategic partnerships
• Conduct client meetings, site visits, and project briefings to understand requirements
• Ensure exceptional client experience throughout the sales cycle and project handover
• Address client concerns promptly and professionally to maintain satisfaction and retention
• Develop referral programs and leverage existing client base for repeat business
Marketing & Brand Promotion
• Represent Rectangle Interiors at industry events, exhibitions, trade shows, and networking forums
• Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional materials, case studies, and client testimonials
• Enhance company visibility through strategic partnerships and industry collaborations
• Leverage social media, LinkedIn, and digital platforms to expand professional network
• Identify opportunities for thought leadership, speaking engagements, and industry recognition
Strategic Partnerships & Collaboration
• Establish partnerships with architects, contractors, real estate developers, and property management companies
• Collaborate with hotel operators, restaurant chains, and retail brands for hospitality and commercial projects
• Build relationships with suppliers, vendors, and industry influencers to expand business network
• Identify and pursue joint venture opportunities and strategic alliances
Reporting & Administration
• Maintain accurate records in CRM system (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, activity summaries, and pipeline updates
• Track competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market developments
• Coordinate with design, project management, and finance teams for seamless project onboarding
• Contribute to business strategy planning and provide market insights to senior management
Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
• MBA or professional sales certification is a strong advantage
• Minimum 3-5 years of proven business development or sales experience in interior design, architecture, construction, or fit-out industry
• Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Experience working in Dubai or UAE market is mandatory
• Strong understanding of interior design, fit-out processes, and project lifecycle
• In-depth knowledge of Dubai and UAE real estate, hospitality, and commercial sectors
• Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills
• Strategic thinking with ability to identify market opportunities and trends
• Strong analytical skills for market research, competitor analysis, and sales forecasting
• Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar)
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for proposals and presentations
• Experience with proposal writing, tender submissions, and contract negotiations
