A Sales Supervisor leads, coaches, and manages a sales team to achieve targets, providing a crucial link between sales staff and management. Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and motivate sales representatives, ensuring high morale and productivity.
  • Performance Management: Set and track daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals, targets, and KPIs.
  • Operational Control: Oversee daily store or team operations, including staff scheduling and task delegation.
  • Customer Service & Sales: Handle escalated customer queries/complaints, ensure exceptional service, and assist in closing deals.
  • Sales Strategy: Analyze sales data to identify market trends, improve performance, and implement promotional strategies.
  • Inventory/Merchandising: Monitor inventory levels and ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience as a sales representative or supervisor.
  • Leadership: Strong team management and motivational skills.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal abilities to interact with staff and clients.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales reports and data.
  • Problem-Solving: Capability to address and resolve complex issues quickly.
  • Technology: Proficiency in CRM software and, in retail, Point of Sale (POS) systems.
