Overview Of The Role:


  • The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for maintaining and implementing visual displays in stores, ensuring the most effective visual merchandising guidelines are used for promotional displays and features. Success in this role involves making optimal use of resources and manpower to enhance store aesthetics and engage customers. The role requires constant awareness of product developments and collaborations with suppliers to enhance promotional efforts. Participation in major projects, such as new store openings, is also required.


What You Will Do:


General


  • Maintain store display standards and ensure adherence to company and brand display standards.
  • Arrange merchandise, signage, mannequins, furniture, and backdrops according to company and brand standards.
  • Dress mannequins for use in displays.
  • Remain informed about in-store developments such as new ranges, promotions, and top sellers within each department to ensure adequate merchandising and support.
  • Implement promotions in the stores and ensure their effective execution.
  • Liaise with signage suppliers and manage in-store promotional graphics.
  • Participate physically in the placement of graphics and visual merchandising displays in smaller stores or for major projects such as new store openings.


Skills

Required Skills To Be Successful:


  • Advanced proficiency in design software including Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Ability to generate innovative suggestions for improving work.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong creativity and attention to detail.


What Qualifies You For The Role:


  • University degree in Interior Design, Merchandising, or Fashion.
  • Minimum of 2 years of visual merchandising experience in the retail fashion industry.
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Strong communication skills and effective time management abilities.
