MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLETo provide expertise in Fatigue Risk Management, ensuring that all company standards, programs, and initiatives are developed, implemented, and continuously improved to meet the highest levels of safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Develops, implements, and maintains flydubai’s Fatigue Risk Management Programme, ensuring its ongoing effectiveness, alignment with industry best practices, and compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Supports key operational domains, including Flight Operations, Inflight Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance, by monitoring fatigue and human‑factors influences within their respective areas, ensuring a coordinated, data‑driven, and comprehensive approach to fatigue risk management across the organization.
- Facilitates the introduction, implementation, and ongoing integration of fatigue-related software systems to enhance reporting, monitoring, and fatigue risk management capabilities.
- Conducts comprehensive fatigue-related risk assessments and investigations and proposes effective mitigations strategies to relevant Nominated Post Holders for further consideration and implementation.
- Review, validate, and analyze fatigue reports, including assessment of fatigue causes, and prepare executive-level summaries and presentations for the Fatigue Risk Management Safety Action Group (FRM SAG) and Management Review Board (MRB).
- Develops and delivers targeted workshops, briefings, and training sessions for management and operational personnel, ensuring consistent understanding and effective application of fatigue risk management principles at all organizational levels.
- Attends Fatigue Risk Management (FRM) meetings to ensure operational and safety concerns are appropriately addressed and aligned with organizational objectives.
- Develops, implements, reviews, and maintains the Fatigue Risk Management (FRM) Manual in line with regulatory, operational, and organizational requirements.
- Establishes in conjunction with operational departments the development and monitoring of Fatigue Related Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs) in accordance with company standards and GCAA requirements.
- Produce communications to crew on fatigue-related topics, promoting awareness, engagement, and compliance with fatigue management practices.
- Studies relevant research, safety publications, and industry guidance within the area of expertise to support the continuous development and enhancement of the Fatigue Risk Management.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
- Degree in Fatigue management, Human Factors, Safety or Sciences.
- Fluent in English (other languages an advantage)
- Working experience in an aviation environment in a technical capacity or operational role is mandatory
- AIMS, AMOS, FRMs software
- Years with qualifications: 7 - 9 years
- Hold or held a recognize ICAO Annex 1 License is a benefit

ISR REQUIREMENTSReads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
