At Dubai Media, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Budget and Planning – Specialist to join our Finance Affairs Department.This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with a strong foundation in finance, accounting, or economics who are eager to develop their skills in budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic business support within a dynamic government media organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the preparation and consolidation of the organization’s annual budget.
Collect, review, and validate financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Monitor and report on financial performance versus budget targets.
Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management for effective decision-making.
Assist in preparing cash flow projections and related financial reports.
Collaborate with departments to forecast revenues and expenses.
Support in reviewing financial requests through ERP/GRP systems (e.g., purchases, payments, staffing).
Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and government financial regulations.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting and reporting accuracy.
Serve as a financial liaison, helping internal teams translate their business needs into actionable financial plans.
