Overview
A well-established construction and infrastructure organisation in Dubai is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to support high-rise and large-scale building projects. This role is responsible for delivering accurate field measurements, setting out works, and preparing survey documentation in line with local authority standards.
The position requires strong technical capability, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of UAE regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct land and topographic surveys across construction sites
Perform geodetic calculations and verify measurement accuracy
Establish horizontal and vertical control points for construction works
Set out lines, levels, and reference points in accordance with approved drawings
Prepare survey reports, sketches, and as-built documentation
Produce and update drawings using CAD software
Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality and Roads and Transport Authority regulations
Operate and maintain surveying equipment including Total Stations, GPS systems, and automatic levels
Calibrate and check instruments to ensure accuracy
Liaise with engineers, contractors, and project managers to verify measurements and resolve discrepancies
Support project teams with technical surveying advice as required
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
8 to 12 years of experience in land surveying within the construction sector
Demonstrated experience working on high-rise building projects
Strong proficiency in GPS systems, Total Stations, and CAD software
Good understanding of UAE local authority procedures and land regulations
Valid UAE driving licence preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on site
