The project:
Mace is providing project management services on a large mixed-use regeneration development in Abu Dhabi. The site will have commercial work places and retail units along with public realm.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Carry out quantity take-offs, cost estimates, BOQs, and manage payments, variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Support full contract administration and commercial management, including cost reporting, forecasting, and budget control.
- Review and interpret drawings and specifications, ensuring alignment with infrastructure, drainage, and roadworks standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and value engineering to optimise cost and technical performance.
- Coordinate with design teams, site engineers, contractors, and commercial managers, preparing clear reports for stakeholders.
- Maintain strong documentation, manage priorities, and deliver tasks within project timelines and deadlines.
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a QS in infrastructure and roads projects. UAE experience is essential.
- Proven background with PMC or Supervision Consultant roles.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and local Abu Dhabi regulations.
- Proficiency in QS software (e.g., CostX, Candy, CCS) and advanced MS Excel.
