Synopsis
Play a critical role in safeguarding and enhancing the performance of Etihad’s Pricing & Revenue Management (RM) systems. As part of the Solutions & Innovations function, you will ensure the quality, integrity, and accuracy of system inputs and outputs while proactively monitoring system health across multiple platforms.
This role directly supports revenue optimization by validating system releases, maintaining reference data, automating control reporting, and identifying opportunities to prevent revenue dilution. You will contribute to measurable revenue improvement while ensuring operational discipline across RM systems.
Accountabilities
- Perform business user acceptance testing (UAT) for code releases across existing and new Revenue Management systems, documenting results against defined acceptance criteria.
- Review, manage, and maintain business reference data across 15 systems to ensure optimal system capability and accuracy.
- Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all RM Solutions & Innovations tools.
- Monitor system health using control check reports and dashboards on a defined daily, weekly, and monthly cadence, taking proactive corrective actions where required.
- Automate system health checks and reporting using tools such as Power BI, SQL, R, and Python.
- Raise and track support tickets with system providers for issues identified within Pricing & RM systems, and manage resolution through structured follow-ups and weekly support calls.
- Monitor revenue benefits generated by Revenue Management solutions, producing monthly performance reports highlighting revenue improvements and actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain revenue integrity processes to identify and cancel PNRs related to inventory violations and raise agent debit memos in line with Etihad policy.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent academic qualification.
- 2–3 years of experience in Revenue Management Systems, Business Intelligence, or equivalent professional work experience.
- Experience within the aviation industry in the areas of Revenue Management or Business Analytics would be preferred.
