Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead our pastry department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all pastry operations, ensuring high-quality production of desserts and baked goods, maintaining food safety standards, and leading a team of pastry chefs to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all pastry kitchen operations.
  • Develop and design innovative dessert menus aligned with the company’s concept and standards.
  • Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all pastry products.
  • Oversee daily production of cakes, pastries, breads, chocolates, and specialty desserts.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
  • Monitor inventory, control food costs, and reduce waste.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate pastry staff performance.
  • Coordinate with the Executive Chef and management for special events and seasonal offerings.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and use of kitchen equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in pastry arts, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or Pastry Arts preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of modern and classical pastry techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and creativity.
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
