Certification/Approval, Audit and Continued Oversight
- Assist in producing Airspace section outputs, including certificates, approvals, and acceptances for flight procedure design organizations, aeronautical services, search and rescue providers, airspace changes, unmanned aerial services, and related activities.
- Maintain a database of approvals, certifications, audit reports, and oversight activities while keeping an up-to-date surveillance audit program. Cross-check surveillance activities against the program and GCAA procedures, and maintain a consolidated register of internal and external audit findings, ensuring their timely closure.
- Support in the processing of the UAS application and the OAS application
- Support the section as Play the Eservice coordinator within the section
- Support the section manager and the principal inspectors with the preparation for the Audits
Document Management
- Maintain a comprehensive record of relevant certification, reports, approvals, acceptance, reports, recommendations and general documents to ensure an accurate record and evidence base.
- Receive, classify,consolidate and/or summarize documents and information as well as maintain records of documents to ensure compliance with standards and internal procedures.
- Organize and maintain the section filing system to ensure compliance with GCAA record management procedures
- Develop and execute a programme to quality check presence, quality and organization of approved/accepted manuals and other related documents to ensure compliance with standards.
- Investigate and research files and documents to establish or clarify facts required to progress queries raised internally or externally.
Safety Policy / Safety Promotion and Culture
- Assist in the implementation of safety promotion activities to disseminate and nurture a safety awareness culture in the UAE civil aviation industry.
Administration of Sectional Correspondence and Customers
- Administer the utilisation of GCAA assets under their jurisdiction to ensure optimal utilisation of them.
- Support the Airspace team through scheduling appointments, coordinating arrangements transport, accommodation and travel bookings to ensure smooth organisation operation.
- Act as focal point and handling daily customer services relations for customer serviceenquiries.
- Give input to received complaints and grievances from applicants to ensure that they are properly logged and forwarded to the department or individual concerned.
- Draft correspondence to address stakeholder concerns and submit it to the line manager for approval, ensuring timely and accurate communication with all relevant individuals.

- Carry out all administrative activities related to internal standards in accordance with the set policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Follow Safety Affairs functional policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
University degree in relevant major or equivalent technical aviation qualifications with 2 years experience.
