We are currently recruiting for PMC Construction Specilaist role to support our ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be initially based at our client office then to move to offshore rotation (6x3) Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The Role
The Construction Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing offshore construction activities on behalf of ADNOC as the PMC (Project Management Consultant), ensuring that EPC contractors execute works in compliance with project specifications, ADNOC standards, HSE requirements, schedule, and budget

Responsibilities:
Construction & Execution
- Oversee offshore construction activities including platforms, jackets, topsides, pipelines, subsea structures, hook-up & commissioning (HUC).
- Monitor EPC contractor construction performance to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and ADNOC standards.
- Review and approve construction methodologies, work packs, lift plans, and marine spreads.
- Ensure effective coordination between offshore and onshore teams.
Schedule & Progress Control
- Monitor construction progress against approved schedules and milestones.
- Identify potential delays and support development of recovery and mitigation plans.
- Participate in progress meetings and provide accurate progress reporting.
HSE & Quality
- Ensure strict adherence to ADNOC HSE policies, procedures, and Life-Saving Rules.
- Promote safe construction practices and intervene in unsafe acts or conditions.
- Ensure construction activities meet quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) requirements.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
Interface Management
- Act as the key interface between ADNOC, PMC disciplines, EPC contractor, marine warranty surveyors, and third parties.
- Resolve construction-related issues and support technical clarifications.
Technical Support
- Provide construction input during engineering, procurement, and installation phases.
- Review constructability, installation sequences, and offshore logistics plans.
- Support SIMOPS planning and execution.
Commissioning & Handover
- Support offshore pre-commissioning, commissioning, and mechanical completion activities.
- Ensure proper handover of systems and documentation to operations.

Expected
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Marine).
- Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in offshore oil & gas construction.
- Minimum 5–8 years in a PMC or client-side role.
- Strong experience with ADNOC offshore projects or major Middle East operators.
- Proven experience in jackets, topsides, pipelines, subsea, or HUC works.
- Strong knowledge of offshore construction methods and marine operations.
- Excellent understanding of ADNOC standards, codes, and procedures.
- Leadership and contractor management skills.
- Strong communication and reporting abilities.
- High commitment to HSE and quality excellence.
