We are looking for a driven and capable Senior Electrical Project Manager to support us with the development of multiple data center projects for leading technology clients.
- This client-facing role requires strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams, including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines
- Must be able to manage multiple projects concurrently and across multiple regions
- Strong background in data center electrical infrastructure, power distribution systems, and mission critical facilities
You will play an integral role in:
- Coordinating project delivery between engineering disciplines
- Ensuring compliance with data center standards and operational requirements
- Supporting cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide conceptual inputs and technical analysis for data center power systems and electrical infrastructure
- Develop electrical planning concepts including power capacity estimates and redundancy strategies
- Review and validate designs for UPS systems, generators, switchgear, MV/LV distribution, and electrical infrastructure
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and manufacturers on electrical system implementation
- Monitor and control assigned projects to identify technical and operational issues
- Ensure compliance with Uptime Institute Tier standards and mission critical facility requirements
- Prepare management reports including project performance metrics and risk assessments
- Review technical reports and project submissions from contractors and consultants
- Ensure appropriate documentation of audit findings and inspection reports
- Verify contractor invoices and payment applications according to contract guidelines
- Coordinate with FM and RS departments for electrical facility requirements, work permits, and access approvals
- Lead consultant and contractor teams through design review, installation, testing, and commissioning
- Maintain strong working relationships with vendors, consultants, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, manufacturer guidelines, and safety procedures
- Monitor technological developments in power infrastructure, reliability systems, and electrical efficiency
QUALIFICATIONS
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 10–15 years of experience in data center infrastructure and mission critical facilities
- Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, UPS, generators, switchgear, and electrical redundancy design
- Experience working with consultants, contractors, manufacturers, and regulatory authorities
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong reporting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Uptime Institute ATD or ATS certification
- Experience in hyperscale data center development
- Experience managing electrical infrastructure for Tier III or Tier IV facilities
