JOB TITLE: Senior Integration Developer (Frends)



PURPOSE:
The Integration Developer (Frends) will be responsible for designing and implementing integration solutions using the Frends integration platform. The role focuses on developing business workflows, integration flows, and lightweight APIs that enable seamless communication between internal systems and external services. The position requires a strong background in .NET development along with familiarity with integration protocols, API design, and modern DevOps practices.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Design, develop, and maintain business workflows, integration processes, and lightweight APIs using the Frends platform.
  • Build and manage integrations between internal systems and third party services.
  • Develop and maintain .NET based integration components using C# and related tools such as NuGet.
  • Implement and maintain APIs following industry standards and best practices.
  • Work with common integration protocols and data formats including HTTP, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, XSLT, CSV, and (S)FTP(S).
  • Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms including OAuth, RBAC, and identity management practices.
  • Support API documentation and specification using OpenAPI or Swagger.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure integrations meet business and technical requirements.
  • Follow DevOps practices including version control, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration processes to ensure reliability and performance.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:



  • Strong development experience with .NET and C#.
  • Familiarity with package management tools such as NuGet.
  • Solid understanding of integration protocols and standards including HTTP, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and file transfer protocols.
  • Knowledge of API design principles and documentation standards such as OpenAPI or Swagger.
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization frameworks including OAuth, RBAC, and identity management concepts.
  • Experience working with DevOps practices including version control, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with system architecture and integration design.
  • Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and operational best practices for integration platforms.
  • Experience gathering and refining technical and business requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise integrations and system interoperability.
  • Domain or vertical industry experience where applicable.
