As a Senior QA Engineer for the Departure Control Enhancements initiative for our client, you will lead the quality assurance strategy for mission-critical airport systems. In a mission crital airline environment, your role is to ensure that departure control systems, passenger processing, and airport messaging are flawless. You will bridge the gap between functional expertise and advanced automation, ensuring seamless travel for millions of passengers while maintaining the highest safety and operational standards for our global hub operations.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Framework Leadership: Design, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks using the Robot Framework to streamline regression and functional testing cycles.
API & Integration Testing: Conduct deep-dive API automation and validation using Postman and SOAP UI to ensure seamless connectivity between Departure Control Systems (DCS) and external PSS.
Domain-Specific Testing: Execute end-to-end testing for airport-specific applications, focusing on Type B messaging (IATA standards) and real-time passenger processing workflows.
Database Validation: Perform complex data integrity checks and backend validation using advanced PL/SQL to verify data flow across disparate airline systems.
Quality Governance: Design comprehensive test strategies and detailed test cases that cover critical edge cases in high-pressure, 24/7 airport environments.
Collaborative Delivery: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks, providing results-driven feedback to maximize release quality and operational readiness.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise: 5–8 years of professional QA experience with a mastery of Robot Framework for automation and API Automation (REST/SOAP).
Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of Airline PSS (Passenger Service Systems) and Airport Line of Business. Direct experience with Airport Applications and Messaging is essential.
Core Toolkit: Highly proficient in PL/SQL, Postman, and SOAP UI.
Delivery Record: Proven experience in end-to-end testing, from initial test design to defect management within a large-scale enterprise ecosystem.
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with a results-driven mindset and the ability to navigate complex technical and business requirements.
