As a Solution Architect within the Enterprise Architecture division of our client, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and communicating high-performance technology solutions for a global, multi-billion dollar airline. You will lead the transition toward a modern, cloud-native ecosystem by leveraging .NET Core, microservices, and serverless architectures. Your role is to ensure that all developed systems are scalable, secure, and robust, perfectly aligning with corporate IT standards and long-term strategic roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Architecture: Own the full lifecycle of solution architecture, from technology stack selection and design patterns to final implementation oversight.
Cloud-Native Leadership: Design secure, scalable microservices and serverless solutions using AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, SQS/SNS, Step Functions) and container orchestration platforms like Rancher.
Standards & Governance: Establish and govern architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices for ASP.NET Core applications, ensuring compliance with enterprise guardrails.
Integration Strategy: Champion asynchronous, event-driven communication models using message queuing (SQS, Kafka) and event streaming to modernize the existing system landscape.
Security & Risk Mitigation: Proactively adapt security solutions (IAM, OAuth2, JWT) to mitigate emerging threats. Identify and resolve risks related to performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Technical Mentorship: Collaborate with developers and technical leads to design modular, reusable components, providing leadership across all phases of the SDLC.
Modernization Roadmap: Evaluate current system landscapes and define evolution plans for modernization, ensuring solutions are optimized for operational efficiency and future business needs.
Required Skills & Experience
Core Expertise: 5–8 years of experience in Solution Architecture, with deep mastery of .NET Core and Full Stack development.
Cloud Mastery: Proven experience in AWS Cloud-native design, including microservices, serverless (Lambda), and event-driven patterns.
Orchestration: Expert knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) for managing containerized workloads.
Integration Architecture: Strong proficiency in RESTful services, asynchronous messaging, and event-streaming platforms (Kafka/SQS).
Security Acumen: Deep understanding of cloud security, token-based authentication (OpenID Connect), and identity management.
Leadership: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both stakeholders and engineering teams.
