Planning Manager
Key Responsibilities
1. Programme Development
- Prepare baseline programmes in compliance with contract conditions and project scope.
- Develop detailed work breakdown structures (WBS).
- Establish logic-linked schedules using CPM (Critical Path Method).
- Define milestones, key interfaces, and resource allocations.
2. Schedule Monitoring & Control
- Update and maintain project schedules on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Track progress against baseline and identify slippages.
- Perform critical path analysis and float management.
- Propose recovery plans and mitigation strategies.
3. Delay & Claims Analysis
- Conduct Extension of Time (EOT) analysis.
- Perform delay analysis using methodologies such as:
Impacted As-Planned
Time Impact Analysis (TIA)
Windows Analysis
4. Reporting
- Prepare periodic progress reports (weekly/monthly dashboards).
- Generate S-curves (planned vs. actual).
- Develop manpower histograms and resource reports.
5. Coordination
- Interface with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commercial teams.
- Ensure subcontractor programmes align with the main contractor’s master schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 8–15 years of experience in project planning (construction/engineering environment).
- Proficiency in planning software such as:
Primavera P6
MS Project
- Strong understanding of FIDIC or similar contract frameworks.
- Experience in Hotel, high-rise, or large-scale building projects (preferred).
- Interior Fit Out Experience is a must
