Job Description
The Veterinary Sales Executive (Livestock) is responsible for driving sales and expanding market presence of animal health products across UAE dairy farms, livestock farms, poultry operations, and veterinary pharmacies.
The role requires strong technical knowledge of livestock therapeutics, vaccines, feed additives, nutritional supplements, and pharmaceutical distribution channels. The executive is accountable for achieving revenue targets, expanding customer base, maintaining strong relationships with farm owners and veterinary professionals, and ensuring profitable business growth within the livestock sector.
This position combines field-based sales execution with technical advisory support to customers, contributing directly to market penetration and revenue expansion in the large animal segment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets assigned for livestock, dairy, poultry, and veterinary pharmacy portfolio.
- Promote and sell veterinary pharmaceuticals, vaccines, feed additives, nutritional supplements, and therapeutic products for large animals.
- Execute territory sales plan in alignment with company strategy.
- Conduct regular field visits to dairy farms, poultry farms, livestock operations, and veterinary pharmacies across UAE.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with farm owners, production managers, farm veterinarians, and pharmacy buyers.
- Identify new business opportunities and onboard new livestock accounts within assigned territory.
- Increase product penetration in existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling strategies.
- Provide technical product detailing and guidance on dosage, treatment protocols, vaccination programs, and herd health solutions.
- Support farm trials, product demonstrations, and technical presentations when required.
- Monitor competitor pricing, promotional activities, and new product launches in livestock sector.
- Ensure compliance with approved pricing and discount policies.
- Prepare and submit weekly call reports, sales reports, and pipeline updates.
- Monitor customer credit exposure and support timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Coordinate with warehouse and supply chain to ensure product availability and timely deliveries.
- Support participation in livestock exhibitions, industry events, and technical seminars.
- Maintain updated and accurate customer database and territory mapping.
- Provide regular market feedback and recommendations to Sales Supervisor for portfolio improvement.
- Ensure adherence to UAE regulatory requirements and company ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Veterinary graduate (DVM or equivalent)
- Experience in the UAE animal health or livestock medicines market
- Strong sales and marketing capabilities
- Proficiency in English and Arabic
- Valid UAE driving license
