Organization Unit Purpose

Job Purpose


IT Projects Lead is responsible for planning, executing and oversee all projects with problem solving skills. Design the technology road map for the unit. Manage the projects team and the ITD stake holders to drive business objectives related to projects. Monitor the ongoing technical issues with respect to the trading system and track with the internal projects team for close. Provide technical consultation and support to all business stake holders based on strategic initiatives. 


Job Content


Project Management related to revenue growth, efficiency and client satisfaction.   


  • Manage all technology and operational projects and lead projects team to achieve the Approved projects within the expected timeframe, within the decided budget and with proper governance.
  • Prepare dashboard and report all the projects and initiatives to management on a regular basis. 
  • Host program boards when necessary for mission critical projects to keep all the stake holders updated. 
  • Design and implement plan for technology upgrades that suits the latest technology trends in the industry.
  • Review BRDs prepared by the System business Analyst to ensure all business requirements are captured.
  • Create annual IT budget plan for the unit.
  • Identify, Execute and support in Special initiatives for the unit which will help improve the units profitability.
  • Coordinate with all the relevant stake holders to track for completion. 

Managing system support for ENBDS Securities  


  • Oversee the daily systems issues reported and manage with the projects team to follow up for the solution.
  • Raise priority incidents as and when needed when a business impact even occurs.

Build up operational framework and flow through technology


  • Assess, monitor and review operational processes to seek automation opportunities for bringing in efficiencies.

Managing Risk:- from system and process perspective


  • Ensure compliance with internal and external policies, rules and regulations are addressed from system perspective by raising and managing the change with the right stake holders.

Team Leadership:- Developing and leading a highly skilled trading team capable of achieving the firm’s objectives


  • Develop, mentor and enhance the projects team skills to be able to maintain the function with responsibility. 
  • Upskilling the team and ensure compliance and meet performance goals.

Education


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Knowledge in SCA Regulations 

Experiences


  • Minimum 7 Years 
  • Financial Markets
  • UAE & GCC

Knowledge & Skills


  • Technical Knowledge in technology related to security sector. 
  • Managerial Skills
