Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven General Manager with a strong
information technology background to lead one of our group’s companies that specialize in
software development, leading operations, accelerating business growth, and driving
revenue generation. The role requires a strategic leader who combines technical
understanding with business acumen, capable of transforming ideas into profitable
services, expanding market presence, and building sustainable partnerships.
The General Manager will oversee the company’s overall operations, business development,
financial performance, and organizational leadership while ensuring alignment with the
group’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and execute the company’s business strategy aligned with shareholder and
group objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities, markets, partnerships, and revenue streams.
• Lead long-term planning, including growth, expansion, and product/service
diversification.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board regarding investments,
innovations, and market positioning.
Business Development & Revenue Growth:
• Drive company revenue, profitability, and market share growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Lead negotiations for major contracts, partnerships, and commercial agreements.
• Develop pricing strategies, go-to-market plans, and commercial offerings.
• Identify new technology-based services and monetization opportunities.
Operations Management:
• Oversee day-to-day business operations and ensure efficiency across all
departments.
• Establish performance objectives and KPIs across departments.
• Ensure operational processes, policies, and reporting structures are implemented
and monitored.
• Optimize resources, productivity, and cost efficiency.
Technology & Innovation:
• Utilize IT expertise to guide the company’s digital direction and technology offerings.
• Oversee technology projects, system implementations, and digital transformation
initiatives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that create competitive
advantage.
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure scalable, secure, and commercially
viable solutions.
Financial Oversight:
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Monitor financial performance, profitability, and operational costs.
• Ensure achievement of revenue targets and financial KPIs.
• Review financial reports and take corrective actions where necessary.
Team Leadership & Organizational Development
• Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and management team.
• Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, and
results.
• Participate in hiring key leadership positions and succession planning.
• Ensure effective communication across teams and departments.
Governance & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and corporate
governance standards.
• Represent the company in front of regulators, partners, and external stakeholders.
• Manage risks and ensure business continuity planning.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer
Science, or any related field. MBA or Master’s in Strategic Leadership or related field
is highly preferred.
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience, with at least 5–7 years in a senior leadership or
executive management role.
• Proven track record in business generation, revenue growth, and scaling a company.
• Experience working in IT, technology services, digital solutions, or tech-enabled
business environments.
• Strong understanding of technology business models; SaaS, digital platforms,
system integration, or tech services.
