You’ll be joining a newly established ETO team, created to enhance collaboration, accelerate engineered solutions, and drive innovation across the business. We’re looking for a skilled Applications Engineer who thrives on variety, technical challenge, and hands-on involvement from concept through to installation. If you enjoy turning customer requirements into practical, reliable, and cost‑effective engineering solutions, this role offers the perfect platform.
Responsibilities
Deliver engineering solutions as part of our new and growing ETO team.
Support projects from enquiry through to execution with clear technical input.
Create 3D CAD designs, drawings, and supporting documentation.
Work with installation teams, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure safe, compliant, and cost‑effective designs.
Prepare accurate BOMs, quotations, and technical proposals.
Review and verify design work within the team.
Contribute to continuous improvement across the ETO function.
Qualifications
Experience Requirements:
- Technical education, a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred (other engineering fields or equivalent experience will also be considered).
- Ability and experience operating computer-aided design (CAD) software, Solid Edge preferable.
- 5 years’ experience or more in application engineering or inside sales is desired.
- Pneumatics/hydraulics applications engineering/controls experience a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365. Able to quickly learn & utilize business software and internal programs.
- Read, analyze and interpret customer supplied specifications, data sheets, drawings, and schematics.

- Ability to interact with customers on routine basis and must demonstrate a high level of customer service.
- Motivated, self-starter and able to work independently and with a team.
- Enthusiastic, goal oriented and eager to meet or exceed departmental sales objectives and project deadlines.
- Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels (verbal, written and presentation skills).
- Must be thorough, accurate and organized, with a strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks in high pace environment.
