Key Responsibilities1. Procurement Planning & Execution Plan, coordinate, and execute procurement activities in line with project schedules and budget requirements Develop procurement strategies to ensure cost efficiency and supply continuity Monitor material requirements and ensure timely issuance of purchase orders2. Supplier Management & Sourcing Identify, evaluate, and approve suppliers in accordance with company standards Maintain and periodically review the approved supplier list Build and sustain long-term strategic relationships with key vendors3. Commercial Negotiation & Cost Control Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions Ensure procurement decisions achieve best value without compromising quality or timelines Monitor market trends and recommend cost-saving initiatives4. Contractual & Compliance Management Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements Review contracts, agreements, and terms prior to finalization Maintain proper documentation for audits and management review5. Quality & Risk Management Coordinate with technical and quality teams to ensure materials and services meet project specifications Identify procurement-related risks and implement mitigation measures Manage supplier performance, addressing non-conformance or delivery issues6. Stakeholder Coordination Liaise with project teams, engineering, finance, and site teams to align procurement with project needs Provide procurement updates, reports, and recommendations to management Support project planning through early supplier involvement and procurement forecasting7. Reporting & Continuous Improvement Prepare procurement reports covering cost analysis, supplier performance, and procurement status Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and control Support system implementation and process standardization initiatives.
Skills & Competencies Strong commercial and negotiation skills In-depth knowledge of construction materials and procurement practices Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent analytical, planning, and decision-making abilities Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office
Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field Minimum 6–10 years of procurement experience in construction or related industries Strong experience in supplier negotiation, contract management, and strategic sourcing
