Overview Of The Role:
The BIM Manager is strategically positioned to lead the development and transformation of the BIM function within the MEP organization. This role is focused on accelerating productivity, driving digital and AI-based transformations, and establishing scalable and standard BIM practices. The BIM Manager will be instrumental in integrating BIM with project controls and construction workflows, ensuring effective delivery of complex MEP projects. The role demands creating a future-ready BIM team capable of enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and competitiveness.
What You Will Do:
Strategic BIM Leadership
- Define and implement the BIM strategy aligned with company objectives and project delivery needs.
- Establish and maintain a BIM roadmap.
- Drive measurable productivity gains and obtain leadership feedback.
BIM Standards & Governance
- Develop, maintain, and enforce BIM standards, workflows, templates, and QA/QC processes across all MEP disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with standards and conduct audits to reduce coordination errors.
Automation & Tool Development
- Lead the development of BIM automation tools such as Revit, Dynamo, Python, and APIs to accelerate modeling, checking, BOQs, and coordination.
- Achieve time savings through tool deployment and monitor adoption rates.
AI & Digital Innovation
- Initiate and manage AI use cases including model checking, clash intelligence, quantity validation, drawing automation, and predictive coordination risks.
- Deliver AI pilots and measure efficiency improvements.
Project Delivery Support
- Ensure BIM outputs directly support construction, procurement, prefabrication, and site execution, ensuring LOD, shop drawings, and quantities are delivered on time.
- Enhance site satisfaction and reduce RFIs.
Team Development & Capability Building
- Upskill BIM team in advanced BIM, automation, and AI strategies.
- Create a high-performance and future-ready digital team through training completion and skill matrix improvement.
Stakeholder Integration
- Coordinate BIM activities with design consultants, clients, contractors, and internal project teams.
- Gather stakeholder feedback and improve coordination effectiveness.

What Qualifies You For The Role:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum of 10+ years experience in the MEP field with significant BIM leadership exposure on large scale projects.
- Proficiency in Revit (MEP), Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC, Dynamo, Python, and Revit API.
- Experience with AI applications in BIM and the integration of BIM with planning, cost control, procurement, and construction workflows.
