Overview Of The Role:
- The role of Content Traffic Specialist involves leading the creation of intuitive and user-friendly digital content based on research and analysis of customer shopping journeys. The specialist works closely with various stakeholders to streamline digital experiences across mobile, web, and app platforms. Success in this role relies on creating digital content that is engaging, clear, and aligned with IKEA’s communication strategies.
What You Will Do:
Content Creation
- Lead digital content creation with user experience in mind, using data and testing to inform decisions.
- Collaborate with business owners, product managers, UX designers, researchers, and technical teams on the launch of new products, features, and experiments.
- Develop and produce clear, simple communication for digital platforms, engaging customers and enhancing the IKEA online experience.
- Define and create standards to elevate copy clarity across all digital content types including UI text, editorial content, email, and notifications.
- Create and manage content calendars to ensure consistency across all platforms.
- Lead content personalization projects to ensure users see relevant and effective content.
Analysis and Strategy
- Analyze customer behavior in terms of browsing, search, conversion, and content engagement to advise on content strategy.
- Track consumer and content analytics and generate reports and presentations.
- Analyze campaign performance on site and formulate learnings for future campaigns.
- Stay updated on digital trends and apply changes to the digital platform as per customer needs and IKEA communication strategies.
Collaboration and Problem Solving
- Develop and maintain good relations and excellent collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Customer Experience team on initiatives and user experiences to retain customer loyalty and drive conversion.
- Report problems and suggest improvements to line management when processes are not functioning properly.
- Solve concrete problems using learned methods and guidelines.
Skills
Required Skills To Be Successful:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in digital performance tools like Google Analytics.
- Familiarity with content management systems and layout design tools such as Adobe InCopy and InDesign.
- Ability to translate commercial priorities into actionable content strategies.
What Qualifies You For The Role:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or similar.
- 5+ years in a UX writing or technical writing role.
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated proficiency in both English and Arabic languages.
