Vice President - Product Owner - GTB Channels


GTB Channels Product Owner (PO) role will have overall accountability and ownership to build, develop, commercialize, improve adoption and performance of Mashreq’s corporate digital channels, such as NEO CORP (online corporate channel), Mobile App, Host-to-Host (H2H) and SWIFTnet, and third-party platforms—integrated with Cash and Trade product engines. PO will own the channel enhancement backlog, and work closely with clients and key stakeholders like Product, CXC, Technology, Operations, Compliance and Islamic team to articulate requirements, write use cases, user stories, BRDs, create roadmaps, maintain the backlog, ensure timely delivery and roll out of functionalities across markets.


The Channels PO role is pivotal in ensuring accelerated delivery of critical enhancements, rapid execution of our plans by working closely with clients as well as internal stakeholders. Being onshore is critical because this role requires direct engagement with key stakeholders, fast decision-making, and real-time coordination across Product, CXCG, Sales, Operations, Technology, and Client teams. Onshore presence enables faster resolution of complex issues, addressing feedback, adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements, and alignment with market-specific nuances.


The incumbent will work in close collaboration with GTB Product (Cash and Trade), Customer Experience and CIBG Technology and Operations. Key part of the job will be to gather requirements, writing use cases, user stories, Business Requirement Documents (BRD), development roadmaps, maintain the backlog, roll out functionalities and support key client mandates through digital channels. The role requires strong understanding of Transaction Banking Products, Core Banking, Payment infrastructure, client connectivity requirements and new age digital solutions for Payments, Collections and Trade Finance. This role bridges business strategy and technology execution, ensuring that channel capabilities align with client needs, regulatory expectations, and the bank’s overall digital transformation agenda.
