About the job LEAD TELECOM ENGINEER
We are seeking an experienced Lead Telecom Engineer to join our multidisciplinary engineering team for an ADNOC Offshore/Onshore project during the FEED and EPC phases. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in telecom systems design for oil & gas facilities, with proven experience in ADNOC projects and compliance with international standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead telecom engineering and design activities during FEED and EPC phases in accordance with ADNOC standards and project specifications.
- Develop and review telecom deliverables including system design basis, specifications, layouts, block diagrams, and MTOs.
- Design and oversee telecom systems such as FO networks, LAN/WAN, PAGA, CCTV, access control, radio systems, and telephony.
- Ensure integration of telecom systems with control and safety systems.
- Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, IT, and other disciplines for interface management and design optimization.
- Participate in 3D model reviews, constructability reviews, and safety workshops (HAZID/HAZOP).
- Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with project specifications and cybersecurity requirements.
- Address technical queries (TQs), client comments, and support procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure timely delivery of telecom deliverables in line with project schedules.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or Electrical Engineering.
- 15+ years of experience in telecom engineering within oil & gas projects.
- Strong experience in ADNOC Offshore/Onshore or GCC projects.
- Proven involvement in FEED and EPC phases.
- Expertise in telecom systems (fiber optics, radio, PAGA, CCTV, networking).
- Familiarity with international standards and cybersecurity practices.
- Knowledge of 3D model review tools is an advantage.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP) are a plus.
