• Classify and distribute incoming laboratory samples according to standard procedures to carry out the required chemical analyses as per instructions.
• Conduct semi-complex chemical tests on food or environmental samples in accordance with standard testing methods and ensure compliance with approved quality standards and indicators.
• Enter sample data and chemical test results into the laboratory electronic system.
• Operate laboratory testing equipment and instruments to conduct required chemical tests for food, environmental, consumer products, and commodities; ensure equipment is functional, maintained, and calibrated according to standard requirements to obtain accurate test results.
• Comply with work instructions, operational procedures, and occupational health and safety standards in accordance with the approved system.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and instruments by following instructions and guidelines, cleaning equipment, monitoring and recording temperatures daily, and ensuring the availability of personal protective equipment (PPE) and chemical records.
• Prepare daily reports on tests and examinations completed within the specified testing timeframe.
