1. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

   
   

Regular Vehicle

1. Drives the assigned vehicle safely in accordance with time schedules; transporting staff to and from their accommodations. 

   
   

1. Maintains order and proper discipline of passengers;, documents and reports severe disciplinary cases

   
   

1. Conducts established safety and operational inspection of assigned vehicle daily.

   
   

1. Assures maintenance of vehicle in safe and clean operating condition; reporting needed mechanical repairs, services the bus with gas and oil, follows established security procedures

   
   

1. Transports and delivers messages and memos between the hospital and other concerned offices as directed.

   
   

1. Maintains a variety of records and reports including but not limited to mileage, routing, maintenance, and time schedules.

   
   

1. Attends meetings, programs, and in-service training as assigned.

   
   

1. Maintains current required licenses and certificates.

   
   

1. Notifies appropriate individuals of any delays in scheduled route.

   
   

1. Assists with other routes when breakdown or other unusual circumstances occur as assigned.

   
   

Ambulance

1. Drive ambulances or in transporting sick, injured, or convalescent persons.

   
   

1. Assist in placing patients on stretchers, and load stretchers into ambulances, usually with assistance from other attendants.

   
   

1. Assist in CPR when needed.

   
   

1. Maintain the daily ambulance checklist as mandated in the Ambulance Policy. 

   
   

1. Performs other related duties as assigned

1. QUALIFICATION, LICENSURE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SPECIAL SKILLS

   
   

   1. Education: High School Graduate or its equivalent.

      
      

1. Possession of a current, valid and appropriate Dubai Driver License

   
   

1. Knowledge of Topography and road conditions in the UAE and related areas

   
   

1. At least five (5) years of experience in driving.

   
   

1. Must possess a basic BLS training.

   
   

1. Good command of English. Arabic is desirable but not essential.

   
   

1. Thorough knowledge of UAE policies and regulations regarding driving.
