Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a commercially astute and analytically strong Commercial Manager to join our PMCM Division. This role is designed for a candidate with a solid accounting or commerce background, complemented by strong financial analysis capabilities and experience in managing receivables and payment follow-ups.


Unlike traditional commercial roles, this position operates at the division level, focusing on financial performance, business insights, and strategic support across the PMCM portfolio rather than individual projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving financial visibility, improving cash flow, and supporting data-driven decision-making at a business unit level.


We envisage success in this role to include;


Division-Level Financial Management


Monitor and analyze financial performance across the PMCM Division, including revenue, margins, and cost structures


Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans


Track key financial metrics such as utilization rates, revenue trends, and profitability at a consolidated level


Financial Analysis & Reporting


Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reports for senior leadership


Provide actionable insights on financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities


Conduct variance analysis and recommend strategies to improve financial outcomes


Accounts Receivable & Cash Flow Management


Oversee divisional accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections


Lead and coordinate payment follow-ups with internal stakeholders to improve cash flow and reduce aging


Analyze receivables data to identify systemic issues and implement process improvements


Business Performance & Strategic Support


Partner with PMCM leadership to support strategic decision-making through financial insight and analysis


Contribute to business planning initiatives, including growth strategies and operational efficiency improvements


Support the development and implementation of financial controls, policies, and reporting frameworks.


Stakeholder Engagement


Collaborate closely with finance teams, business unit leaders, and senior management


Act as a key point of contact for financial performance discussions within the PMCM Division


Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and standards



Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15+ years of relevant experience. A minimum of 5 year’s experience undertaking senior roles on complex construction and infrastructure consulting business, partnered with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance or Commerce.
