Eaton’s Electrical Sector in EMEA is seeking a Senior Manager Finance - LS & DPI EMEA.
What you’ll do:
This role leads the Finance function for LS & DPI, a mainly project based business for electrical components/systems operating in 6 countries across EMEA/APAC/US and including responsibility for 8 manufacturing sites and a total of over 2,300 employees. The Finance Manager provides strategic guidance, identifies opportunities for business improvement, and drives enhancements across all finance processes with a focus on quality, efficiency, and compliance. They will partner with other stakeholders to set and execute strategic business targets and act as a sparring partner for those stakeholders.
- Manages monthly and quarterly closing and forecasting cycles, as well as the annual plan and five-year strategic plan. Drives forecast accuracy across the organization and ensures actuals are translated into financial insights. Provides strategic guidance to support and achieve short- and long-term targets.
- Ensures all processes comply with local and US GAAP regulations. Sets the tone from the top and drives teams to own the balance sheet and P&L. Seeks continuous improvement in the risk control framework.
- Oversees all RTR, OTC, and P2P processes, whether performed by shared services teams or within the organization. Drives quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Contributes to commercial success by supporting deals, leads, and commercial strategy. Motivates teams across the organization to deliver on revenue commitments and actively participates in the pulsing and SIOP process.
- Expands margins by actively reviewing the portfolio and collaborating with operational teams to improve. Understands the value gap of products and sets long-term objectives to address margin risk. Communicates effectively with senior leaders to facilitate action-oriented discussions.
- Drives continuous improvement in manufacturing sites, focusing on productivity and efficiency targets. Navigates the manufacturing process comfortably and translates numbers into insights.
- Sets, reviews, and executes business strategy, providing insights, options, and opinions.
- Enhances free cash flow performance through managing working capital and capex.
- Stays informed about products, markets, competition, and trends. Understands go-to-market approaches and the customer base.
- Attracts, develops, and mentors talent, and manages succession planning.
Qualifications:
Higher Education with BA or MA degree, preferably with a qualification such as ACCA/CMA
10+ years of Financial Management experience
Skills:
• Comfortable with US GAAP reporting guidelines and SOX framework
• Comfortable with SAP, Oracle (Cloud) and other finance IT systems including planning & data warehouse tools
• Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills
• Ability to lead diverse, matrixed, virtual teams
• Adaptable to varying cultures
• Navigates matrix environments effectively and able to manage through influence
