Our client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled DevOps
Engineer to join their growing technology team. This role will play a
critical part in building, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure, and
high-performing infrastructure. You will work closely with development and QA
teams to ensure seamless delivery pipelines and reliable production
environments.
Key Responsibilities:
·Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD
pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes
·Build
and manage scalable infrastructure supporting modern applications, including
AI-driven systems
·Automate
infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or
CloudFormation
·Optimize
cloud and on-premise environments for performance, scalability, and cost
efficiency
·Manage
and enhance real-time data streaming and queuing systems
·Monitor
system performance and troubleshoot production issues to ensure high
availability
·Implement
logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK
stack)
·Establish
monitoring for both system performance and application-level metrics
·Conduct
root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement of system
reliability
·Collaborate
cross-functionally to ensure smooth deployment of new features
·Promote
best practices in architecture, security, and performance optimization
·Participate
in an on-call rotation to support production systems
·Ensure
compliance with security and regulatory standards (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001)
·Manage
secrets and credentials securely using tools like Vault or cloud-native
solutions.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, or Go
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Strong experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Datadog, Grafana)
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, firewalls)
- Exposure to real-time data processing architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Pulumi
- Knowledge of service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd)
- Familiarity with database scaling and administration (SQL, NoSQL, Vector databases)
- Experience working in high-traffic or production-critical environments
