  • Role: SME Relationship Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and acquire SME merchants to onboard POS and card payment solutions.
  • Promote and sell merchant acquiring products, including POS terminals and digital payment solutions.
  • Conduct field visits to retail outlets, restaurants, and businesses to generate new leads.
  • Manage the end-to-end merchant onboarding process, including documentation and compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with SME clients to ensure long-term engagement.
  • Monitor merchant transaction activity and support activation of POS terminals.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and merchant acquisition goals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for POS installation, technical support, and issue resolution.
  • Provide merchants with training and guidance on using POS systems and payment services.


Skills

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Hands on experience in POS sales, merchant acquiring, SME banking, or payment solutions.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of merchant acquiring, card payments, and POS solutions is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a target-driven, field sales environment.
