Description

In this role, you will support children aged 2 - 18 with neurological and neurodevelopmental conditions affecting development, behavior, learning, regulation, movement, or overall functioning. You will assess children with autism, developmental delays, seizure disorders, motor coordination challenges, hypotonia, regression, and other complex neurological conditions. The role involves providing specialist diagnostic input, guiding investigations and medical management as needed, and collaborating with the broader developmental and therapy team to create integrated care plans for children and families.


 Role & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and evaluations for pediatric patients
  • Diagnose and manage a range of neurological conditions, including epilepsy, developmental delays, and neurogenetic disorders
  • Develop and oversee individualized treatment and care plans
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and coordinate further investigations when required
  • Collaborate with therapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Provide guidance and support to families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Stay updated on advancements in pediatric neurology and evidence-based practices


Skills

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong expertise in diagnosing and managing pediatric neurological conditions
  • Ability to interpret diagnostic tests such as EEG, MRI, and CT scans
  • Experience in managing neurodevelopmental disorders and epilepsy
  • Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills with children and families
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary care team 

Education & Qualifications: 

  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Neurology
  • Board certification or equivalent in Pediatric Neurology Preferred
  • Valid DHA license or eligibility to practice in Dubai
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience preferred
