Job Summary:


About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Sales Intern to join PayPal for a 3-month internship. This role provides hands-on exposure to the fintech and payments landscape, with a focus on supporting sales efforts, understanding merchant onboarding processes, and conducting market research.
You will work closely with the sales team to support pipeline development, assist with merchant acquisition initiatives, and gain insight into how PayPal enables businesses to scale through seamless payment solutions.

Job Description:


Key Responsibilities



  • Support the sales team in managing and tracking leads across the pipeline



  • Assistin understanding PayPal’s merchant onboarding process, including compliance (KYC), integration, and activation stages



  • Conduct market and competitor research across the fintech and payments ecosystem toidentifynew opportunities and trends



  • Support the preparation of client presentations, sales pitches, and proposals tailored to merchants’ payment needs



  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., onboarding, risk, product) to support deal execution and merchant activation



  • Maintainaccuraterecords of sales activities and pipeline updates in CRM tools



  • Analyze sales and market data to generate insights that support go-to-market strategies



  • Support strategic sales initiatives and ad-hoc projects focused on merchant growth

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field



  • Strong interest in fintech, digital payments, and e-commerce ecosystems



  • Basic understanding of sales, business development, or customer acquisition

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
