MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLETo conduct audits across all operational areas including ground operations, maintenance, training as well as security and safety within the required period to verify compliance with regulations as established by the GCAA, IATA ISARPS and any documented requirements defined by flydubai.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Reviews changes made to manuals and procedures in the area of maintenance, engineering and maintenance training to ensure regulations are in compliance and identify improvements.
- Updates and improves the Compliance Monitoring Manual, compliance monitoring procedures and audit checklists on a continuous basis in the area of maintenance & engineering and maintenance training.
- Reviews and presents findings and concerns to the internal area owners or representatives of suppliers and service providers.
- Escalates all non-conformities in the areas of maintenance & engineering and maintenance training and ensures appropriate corrective, preventative actions are taken in a timely manner.
- Verifies the adequacy of corrective, preventative actions in the areas of maintenance & engineering and maintenance training and reviews the root cause to ensure that they are resolved.
- Acts as a subject matter expert in investigations related to maintenance & engineering in areas of compliance.
- Conducts quality board for personnel to obtain the company authorization, ensuring at all times that the personnel have the necessary qualification, experience and meets the required standards in procedural knowledge.
- Suspends, revokes, limits, varies or reinstates personnel company authorizations following thorough due diligence and investigation processes.
- Reviews and approves all maintenance & engineering service providers including parts suppliers, MRO and line maintenance service providers.
- Reviews, evaluates and approves of any maintenance requests/variation including Repair Interval Extension and maintenance check extensions.
- Reviews and endorses personnel licence applications to the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), ensuring applicants meet all qualification and experience requirements prior to submission.
- Liaise with the regulatory authorities to resolve compliance matters and ensure alignment with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Authors Compliance Monitoring Notices when necessary to inform changes to regulations, procedures and any other compliance related matters.
- Identifies improvement, development and implementation of processes and procedures within the Compliance Monitoring department.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
- Bachelor's degree related to any engineering discipline
- Fluent in English (other languages an advantage)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in airline or MRO quality assurance or compliance monitoring environment with relevant working experience OR a minimum of 8 years as a certifying personnel in an airline or MRO.
- Specialized training/experience in QPulse. Intelex and AMOS.
- Years with qualifications: 8 - 10 years
- IRCA certified Lead Auditor Training for quality management system or equivalent
- GCAA CAR 66 License with type rating or an equivalent

ISR REQUIREMENTSReads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
