Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated IT and Administrative Assistant to support our fast-paced organization in the United Arab Emirates. 

This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates aiming to gain hands-on experience in IT operations and administrative functions. 

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth daily operations, effective IT support, and professional handling of administrative tasks to contribute to overall organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide basic IT support, including troubleshooting hardware/software issues, configuring peripherals, and maintaining computer systems and devices.
  • Assist with network and system administration tasks under supervision, including user account management and software deployments.
  • Respond to IT helpdesk tickets in a timely manner and document issues and resolutions for future reference.
  • Coordinate daily office operations such as scheduling, filing, record-keeping, and correspondence management.
  • Prepare and process internal communications, meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding of staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and security protocols.
  • Support procurement activities, including vendor liaison, purchase orders, and inventory tracking of IT equipment and office supplies.
  • Assist with basic data entry, reporting, and maintenance of databases and shared folders.
  • Support travel arrangements, calendar management, and event coordination as required.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

 

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university qualification (Bachelor's degree preferred) in IT, Administration, Business, or related field.
  • Entry-level to 1 year of relevant experience or internships in IT support or administrative roles.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized with strong time-management skills.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, Windows/macOS operating systems, and common IT tools.
  • Familiarity with office software (MS Office Suite, Google Workspace) and basic database concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain confidentiality where required.
  • Authorized to work in the UAE and able to commute to the office as needed.
