Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide basic IT support, including troubleshooting hardware/software issues, configuring peripherals, and maintaining computer systems and devices.
- Assist with network and system administration tasks under supervision, including user account management and software deployments.
- Respond to IT helpdesk tickets in a timely manner and document issues and resolutions for future reference.
- Coordinate daily office operations such as scheduling, filing, record-keeping, and correspondence management.
- Prepare and process internal communications, meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding of staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and security protocols.
- Support procurement activities, including vendor liaison, purchase orders, and inventory tracking of IT equipment and office supplies.
- Assist with basic data entry, reporting, and maintenance of databases and shared folders.
- Support travel arrangements, calendar management, and event coordination as required.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university qualification (Bachelor's degree preferred) in IT, Administration, Business, or related field.
- Entry-level to 1 year of relevant experience or internships in IT support or administrative roles.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized with strong time-management skills.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, Windows/macOS operating systems, and common IT tools.
- Familiarity with office software (MS Office Suite, Google Workspace) and basic database concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain confidentiality where required.
- Authorized to work in the UAE and able to commute to the office as needed.
