Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with specialized expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the cost management and quantity surveying aspects of MEP projects to ensure they are completed within budget and to high quality standards.
Job Responsibility:
- Manage and control all costs associated with MEP projects, including estimating, tendering, budgeting, and final account preparation
- Prepare and evaluate MEP project costs, bills of quantities, and contracts
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost forecasting and budget control
- Analyze variations and contractual claims related to MEP work
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project delivery meets financial objectives
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on MEP projects
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction contracts, and relevant regulations
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities
- Professional certification (e.g. RICS, CIOB) is a plus
- Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively to achieve project goals

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems

- Proven experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry
- Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for quantity surveying
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Project management expertise
