Job description

Group Project Data Analyst – Intern supports the Group ERP Lead and Functional Lead(s) during the delivery of enterprise initiatives, including ERP system implementation activities. The role provides hands‑on support to Workstream Leads, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) through data validation, system testing, and structured documentation.

It plays a key role in helping to ensure that system outputs meet predefined business and quality standards. The role offers practical exposure to ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365), core business processes (Finance, Sales, Parts, Service, Technical), and project delivery practices, while developing foundational data analysis and testing capabilities under supervision.

1 . Data Validation & Quality Assurance

• Support data validation activities by comparing expected versus actual results against defined business requirements
• Identify, document, and escalate data discrepancies, inconsistencies, or gaps
• Contribute to improved data accuracy and integrity during data migration and testing cycles

2. System & User Acceptance Testing Support

• Execute assigned test cases in line with approved test scripts and guidance
• Accurately record test outcomes (pass, fail, on hold) using agreed templates and tools
• Capture and maintain supporting evidence, including screenshots and data extracts

3. Issue & Defect Management

• Log defects and issues clearly, including reproducible steps and supporting evidence
• Classify issues appropriately and track their status through to resolution

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Produce clear, concise, and structured documentation suitable for both business and technical stakeholders
• Maintain testing, data validation, and issue documentation in line with project standards
• Support preparation of progress summaries and testing status reports as required
