Job description

We are seeking a Senior / Lead Business Analyst to support business analysis, requirements engineering, and process optimization across a portfolio of core business applications in a complex enterprise environment.

The successful candidate will act as the key link between business stakeholders, operations teams, vendors, and technical delivery teams to ensure that business needs are clearly captured, structured, prioritized, and translated into scalable digital solutions. This role requires strong documentation discipline, workshop leadership, bilingual communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in high-volume, mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

Business Requirements Management

  • Conduct workshops, meetings, and stakeholder interviews to gather business, functional, and operational requirements
  • Translate requirements into BRDs, FRDs, SRS documents, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and process flows
  • Analyze current business pain points and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
  • Maintain clear traceability from requirements through design, development, testing, and sign-off

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the main coordination point between business teams, operations, vendors, and delivery teams
  • Facilitate requirement discussions, demos, steering meetings, and decision-making sessions in Arabic and English
  • Clarify ambiguous requests and convert them into structured, measurable, and actionable deliverables
  • Ensure delivery aligns with approved scope and business expectations

Process Improvement & Governance

  • Map AS-IS / TO-BE processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, overlaps, and control weaknesses
  • Support process optimization and standardization across departments
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with governance, compliance, audit, and operational control requirements
  • Recommend KPIs, SLAs, and reporting mechanisms for improved service and process performance

Testing & Delivery Support

  • Prepare UAT scenarios, business test cases, and sign-off criteria
  • Coordinate with QA teams, technical teams, and end users during SIT and UAT phases
  • Validate that delivered solutions meet agreed business requirements
  • Support go-live readiness, user adoption, training, and hypercare activities

Data, Reporting & Training

  • Analyze operational data and performance trends to support better decision-making
  • Define dashboard and reporting requirements for management visibility
  • Prepare professional documentation, user guides, SOPs, and training materials in Arabic and English
  • Conduct end-user and stakeholder training sessions where required


Skills

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • 3+ years in a senior or lead Business Analyst capacity
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, MIS, or a related field
  • Strong experience in enterprise digital transformation and business systems
  • Proven experience working in high-pressure, high-volume, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Strong experience in:

  • BRD / FRD / SRS documentation

  • UAT / SIT support
  • solution validation
  • Experience with business applications related to government services, transport, traffic, inspection, CRM, operations management, or customer-facing digital platforms
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, ITIL, SDLC, and change management
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, TFS, Visio, Power BI, SQL, BPMN tools, and Microsoft 365
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and documentation skills
  • Fluent Arabic and English are mandatory, both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in UAE government, semi-government, transport, traffic, or regulated sectors
  • Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile BA, ITIL, or Scrum Product Owner
  • Experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives across multiple departments or business units
