Etihad Water & Electricity subsidiary for infrastructure development is a leading developer infrastructure projects including power and water. We are focused on delivering major infrastructure projects across the GCC and CIS regions, spanning Conventional Power, Environment, and Renewable technologies.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager (UAE National) to support our growth initiatives and identify new investment opportunities across the infrastructure and utilities sectors. The role will contribute to the development and management of bilateral power projects, including G2G initiatives and M&A activities across key markets such as the Middle East (UAE, Jordan, KSA, etc.) and the CIS region. The role involves supporting business development, project structuring, drafting and reviewing contractual agreements, and facilitating internal approvals. You will also monitor project progress and support the transition from project initiation to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead coordination of project development activities for bilateral/G2G infrastructure projects from early-stage structuring through execution readiness Act as the central interface across Technical, Legal, Project Finance, and Procurement teams to align inputs and resolve issues Support preparation and negotiation of project agreements Coordinate the development of technical, commercial, and financial inputs of the business case Manage stakeholder engagement with government entities, partners, and advisors to ensure alignment on achieving various milestone of the project Support financial modeling, including validation of assumptions, CAPEX/OPEX analysis, and alignment with market conditions Assist in procurement and management of external advisors (legal, financial, technical) and evaluate their deliverables Oversee documentation management, ensuring accuracy, version control, and confidentiality of project data Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and updates for senior management and investment committees
Requirements:
3–5 years of relevant experience in business development, project finance roles within the utilities or infrastructure sector or investment roles within international banks or funds MBA or Master’s in Finance preferred Strong analytical, and deal structuring capabilities Ability to support end-to-end project development and work effectively in a cross-functional environment
