Role summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented supply chain analyst to support our integrated business planning (IBP) team. This role plays a critical part in enabling data-driven decision-making across logistics, inventory, and demand planning functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key system inputs, generating performance insights, and driving operational excellence across GCC markets.
Key responsibilities
Data analytics & reporting
Execute weekly uploads of actuals, goods-in-transit, and inventory data into the E2Open system and ensure monthly reconciliation.
Manage monthly IMS forecast and shipment data uploads to the Tagetik platform.
Execute monthly stock and sales updates in respective shipment control files for the markets.
Develop and maintain inventory dashboards tailored to GCC market dynamics.
Track open orders versus available stock weekly to support order fulfillment planning.
Lead monthly aging stock analysis and reporting to support inventory health initiatives.
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) across GCC markets to support business reviews.
Monitor and report market-level quality incidents, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
Provide actionable insights to enhance demand forecasting accuracy, inventory optimization, and cost efficiency.
Logistics coordination
Monitor weekly shipment ETAs and proactively report deviations to the IBP team.
Support supplier performance evaluation and logistics efficiency tracking.
Collaborate with IBP and logistics teams to enable data-backed operational decisions.
Process improvement
Identify process inefficiencies and recommend solutions to enhance supply chain agility.
Support the deployment of digital tools and automation initiatives to streamline workflows.
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business analytics, or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in supply chain analytics or logistics, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, large data sets).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
