Job Purpose:
To install, assemble, and maintain rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems as per technical drawings and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install solar panels on rooftops as per project design
Perform mounting, wiring, and alignment of PV modules
Assist in DC wiring, stringing, and inverter installation
Follow electrical safety procedures during installation
Support testing and commissioning of solar systems
Handle tools, equipment, and installation materials safely
Work closely with engineers and site supervisors
Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area
Report any technical or safety issues immediately
Requirements:
Technical diploma or ITI in Electrical / Mechanical field preferred
1–3 years experience in solar installation or electrical works
Knowledge of PV systems and rooftop installation methods
Ability to work at height and in outdoor conditions
Physically fit and safety-conscious
Basic understanding of electrical safety standards
